making a difference poster

All are welcome to participate in a public event series being launched by the Oxford History Faculty’s new Community History Hub.

We will be discussing new directions in the field of History, being pioneered by community historians and academics working in partnership. The three events will take place across Oxford, as well as later being available to view online. All events are free to attend,

Our second event, Making History Here: Community History in Oxfordshire, begins with a chance for networking over refreshments at the History Faculty followed by a panel discussion exploring the experiences of historians working in and on Oxford and Oxfordshire.

We invite anyone interested in historical studies to join us for a rich, engaging discussion. We also welcome you to get involved with our Hub’s growing network of History researchers and students by subscribing to our mailing list.

PLEASE NOTE:  the ‘Forgotten Stories of Oxford' walking tour, is fully booked as is the waiting list

LOCATION: Due to the amazing response we have had to this seminar we are changing the venue so that we can fit more people in.

There will be an opportunity for networking over refreshments at the Faculty of History from 4.30pm and everyone interested in community history is very welcome.

However, the panel discussion will now be next door at the Wesley Memorial Church at 5.30pm -7pm.
