Girls, travel and global issues: multi-disciplinary perspectives

The Centre for Gender, Identity and Subjectivity, in collaboration with the Centre for Global History, are running a workshop on 'Girls, travel and global issues: multi-disciplinary perspectives', at Mansfield College, 14 March 2018. This workshop, funded by TORCH as part of their Humanities and Identities series, provides an opportunity for scholars working in the social sciences, literature and history to compare methodologies and concepts for exploring girlhood mobility. Themes include travel, migration, displacement and networking across diverse global contexts.
