All India Hindu Mahasabha: organisation, strategies and formation of Hindu nationalist discourse (c.1915-c.1951)

For my doctoral project, I am interested in working on the history of the right-wing forces in India such as the current ruling party of India, BJP. I will be exploring the ideas associated with "who is a Hindu". Methodologically I draw from the critical theory associated with religion and culture along with archival and oral method of research. I am also interested in history associated with caste and gender.

I have completed my Bachelors in History from the University of Delhi and Master's in Modern History from Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU). I was enrolled in the MPhil Programme at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
